A shot of the gate at Pine Creek.
On to the fishing report for the week. The Pompano bite this week has been as good as I have ever seen it. My charter yesterday with Nick Mcdonald and his two friends proved to be a good Pomp day with 15 or 16 to the boat and many more lost, with a mix of Ladyfish to keep the rods bent.
The day before that I was on the water with John Crockett who was an excellent fly caster. John wanted to give the big Jacks on the beach a try but it was to early in the season and we never saw the first one. We did find a nice big school of Cobia to get us excited, along with plenty of Spanish mackeral to keep the action moving.
I will be on the water again tomorrow fishing a group charter with Mike Holliday. Hoping for good weather and lots of action.
